Introduction
Our lofts are ideal for anyone who wants to live in absolute comfort and who dreams of relaxation and culture. The lofts are very well located, within walking distance of many amenities such as supermarkets, restaurants, health clubs, and walking or jogging paths. The apartments are furnished and have one or two bedrooms, a living-room with kitchenette, a bathroom for each bedroom, and parking.
The lofts are in a Spanish colonial style residence, and have large windows with fantastic views of the Andes mountain range, including the Cayambe Volcano and the beautiful Guapulo church. The apartments are ideal for couples or single persons and are especially designed to meet the needs of people who are on medium or long term work in Ecuador, and want to feel at home.

Guapulo Neighborhood
The lofts are located in Guapulo; a historic quarter adjacent to the elegant and modern neighborhood of Gonzalez Suarez and right behind Hotel Quito. Guapulo is a place of striking beauty, history and tradition. It was founded at the beginning of the 16th century on an old indigenous settlement, and was the place where Gonzalo Pizarro began his expedition to discover the Amazon River.
This unique location lets you experience life in a colonial neighborhood with easy access to all the amenities and excitement of a modern city. Renowned for a bohemian and artsy lifestyle, Guápulo has inspired artists for years. Many generations of families live in Guapulo, and they have created and maintained a rich cultural life with traditional celebrations throughout the year. Guests can get a taste of the local customs by participating in the Guapulo festival every September, a colorful celebration complete with costumes, parade, food, drink, songs, and dance.
The lofts are immersed in an oasis of natural beauty and amenities which the visitor can discover on foot. You can walk the cobblestone streets where you will find Spanish colonial homes. The area also boasts trails through more natural areas. Parque Guapulo is just a 15 minute walk away. When you are tired of walking, you can enjoy the splendor of the Ecuadorian mountains in an attractive and comfortable apartment!
Life in Guápulo also allows you easy access to all the cultural amenities of a dynamic city. A 10 minute walk brings you to the Gonzalez Suarez area, and to La Floresta neighbourhood, where you will find many restaurants, coffee shops, attractive patisserie, and shops. A short 15 minute taxi ride brings you to the old historical Quito with cultural attractions and historical sites. Also a short ride away are a variety of movie theaters with a wide range of offerings as well as cultural centers offering concerts, dance and theatre performances. Two of Quito’s largest municipal parks -La Carolina Park and Guapulo Park- are just a 15 minute walk away. Also a short drive away, there are several malls where you can find everything you might need.
The Residence
The lofts are located in a classic Spanish villa situated on the slopes of a mountain. The impressive hilltop location affords spectacular, sweeping 360° views that stretch literally for miles including a fantastic view of the old town of Guapulo, its 300 year old church, and the Andes mountain range, with the Cayambe Volcano.
The house is divided into six lofts. Living in a house with only six apartments offers privacy and tranquility while the shared common space helps foster a sense of community with neighbors.
The house can only be called an architectural dream. The exteriors of this fine residence have been immaculately designed to very high standards by its architect owner. Every detail of the residence has been done with total respect for nature, and the old Spanish colonial architecture with a distinctive Ecuadorean heritage. The first thing you will note is the elegant details that have gone into the decor; the arched brick windows, wrought-iron details, stone columns, and hand-made bricks result in a wonderful integration of natural materials and carefully selected features. While the exteriors have retained their historical charm, the interiors are designed to fulfill the necessities of modern life. The residence is certainly a rare treasure.
Given the convenient location, you will not need a car to stay at our apartments. If you plan to have one though, you will be able to park it in one of the house garages. The furnished apartments are ideal for people looking for spacious accommodation, comfort, privacy and fabulous views. You will be seduced by the beauty and elegance of the property.
